TREATMENTS AT BODYTREE

Patients from all over the world are welcome to come and stay at the Bodytree centre to receive treatments. The financial contributions from these treatments help to run the project.

Bodytree's approach to health:

We offer awareness on breath, structure, posture, fluid and nutritional balance with safe herbal remedies. We also promote urine therapy.

 

Our daily schedule:

 

8am-9.30am: One-day school on health

 

  • Awareness classes on breathing and structure
  • Breath reduction exercises
  • Structural awareness and exercise programme
  • Visitors consultations
  • Advice on safe herbal remedies
  • Nutritional advice
  • Eye care awareness and exercise programme
  • Urine therapy awareness
  • Open forum discussion

 

10.30am-2pm: Body work sessions

 

12-1pm: Classes for Bodytree students following Adi Yoga & Adi Ayurveda curriculum

 

2pm: Visitors consultations

What to bring

 

  • 2 passport photo page copies and 2 copies of your Indian visa, for registration at the local police station.
  • Comfortable clothes, suitable for a Kerala climate, eg loose cottons.
  • A sarong/lungi you don't mind getting a bit oily after therapy sessions.
  • A hat or cotton scarf to tie around your head. We will insist you cover your head whilst out in the sun.
  • A swimming costume or appropriate clothes to wear in water for hydrotherapy exercise.
  • Proper footwear (flexible at the arch and with an ankle strap) is essential for our health awareness programme.
  • Some good books to fill the time.
  • Any music you would like to listen to during your treatment sessions.
  • A torch (essential).
  • We will provide simple cotton towels, but you may wish to bring your own if you prefer the chunky type.
  • An umbrella is always useful in Kerala.
  • Something warm for the evenings, or if you go up to the local Ponmudi Hill Station where it can be a bit chilly.
