Adivasi community health education theatre workshops Bodytree runs community health education theatre workshops, called Bodytheatre, which incorporate tribal songs, music, dance, drama, stories, yoga and marital arts with community health issues to promote health awareness. Themes include: • Primary health care using medicinal plants and locally available natural resources. • Importance of traditional medical practices; its advantages, disadvantages, exploitations and taboos. • Prevention of epidemics using self-help methods. • Disaster and emergency management. • Conservation of biodiversity. • Sex education in community medicine • Mental Health • Disability - physical and sensory |
